Old Field Club Wedding | Sarah & Michael

We love weddings at The Old Field Club, it’s one of our favorite venues. This was another beautiful day with a sweet couple. Sarah and her bridesmaids were back early from the salon when we arrived for prep at the hotel. Sarah’s Stella York gown hung in the window and it was exquisite. Sarah’s girls looked beautiful as they looked on as she slipped in her gown. As Michael and his groomsmen got ready, one of his groomsmen played the guitar as calming entertainment. The ceremony was held at the historic quaint Caroline Church of Brookhaven in East Setauket. One of the groomsmen sang Ava Maria during their candle lighting ceremony which was amazing. A few photos at the church after the ceremony and then we took some photographs at the Emma S. Clark Memorial Library where the bridal party posed with cute clear umbrellas. Then we all headed over to The Old Field Point Lighthouse for more bridal and some family photos and ended our photo session in front of the beautiful fireplace at the Old Field Club before guests enjoyed the cocktail hour overlooking the beautiful West Meadow Creek. A sweet first dance shared by the couple and then the unique speeches and a song performed by the two groomsmen. The dance floor was filled with guests for the remainder of the night with the exception of a theatrical performance by the groom and two of his groomsmen of Queens “Bohemian Rhapsody” that wowed the crowd. The couple ended their evening with a glow stick exit and  drove away in a gorgeous Rolls Royce.

Captain Bill’s Wedding | Stefanie & Jack

Laughter filled the entire day of Stefanie and Jack’s wedding.    The day started off at the beautiful  water front home Stefanie grew up  in, in Oakdale.  Stefanie was surrounded by her family and brides maids as her hair and make-up were being done.  Jack would be coming to her house for them to have their first look out on the back dock.  Her sisters and mom helped her get into her beautiful Nicole Miller gown and Stefanie did a quick first look with her dad before going out to the dock see Jack. Their family and bridal party watched from the deck as Stefanie and Jack did their reveal.   It was a truly sweet moment knowing that Stefanie and Jack had been together since they were fifteen  and the emotions when seeing each other were filled with tears and giggles.  We took some photos overlooking the water at the house, before heading to Bayard Cutting Arboretum for more family and bridal party photos.

The wedding ceremony and reception were at Captain Bill’s in Bayshore, NY.  As Erin Hill played the harp, Stefanie walked down the aisle towards her soon to be husband Jack.  They wrote their own vows, which brought laughter and tears to many guests eyes.  The couple also tied a fisherman’s knot to symbolize their unity.   The reception room looked elegant with the beautiful floral arrangements and spectacular wedding cake with a nautical touch.  The couple did a choreographed fun dance after being introduced into the reception that wowed their guests.  Stefanie and Jack and their guests love to dance,  laugh and have fun and they definitely did!

Old Field Club Wedding | Samantha & Jeff

Another amazing wedding at one of our favorite venues.  A simply elegant Old Filed Club wedding with a nautical theme that had many DIY elements to WOW over.  When we arrived for bride prep, we were surprised to find Samantha making her floral centerpieces herself.  The beautiful flowers and bouquets by Sugar Magnolias were stunning and Samantha created simple yet beautiful arrangements using Hydrangea’s and mason jars.  Samantha’s hair and makeup by Mya Artistry looked radiant and her dress was simply beautiful.  Jeff and his groomsmen wore custom made bow ties that complimented their suits perfectly.  Samantha and Jeff had their first look at the historic Old Field Point Lighthouse whilst their family and bridal party watched from a far.  After finishing up with the photos, we headed off to the venue for Samantha and Jeff’s sweet and quick ceremony and then we whisked the bride and groom down to the Old Field Beach Club at West Meadow beach for more photos at sunset. Guests enjoyed a beautiful cocktail hour overlooking the water during sunset.  Guests wowed over Samantha’s DIY centerpieces that  looked amazing on the tables, next to the creative salt water taffy favors that Jeff made.  Throughout the entire venue were all the amazing nautical DIY projects Samantha had created to make her event a one of kind.  Guests enjoyed striking a pose in the Ruby Booth photo booth and the evening was filled with love, laughter and lots of dancing.

Simply elegant is how Julie and James’ wedding can be described.   This beautiful Old Filed Club wedding was enjoyed by all.  Julie walked down the aisle at St. James R.C. Church and in her beautiful lace gown and James could not take his eyes off of her.  We stopped at  Old Filed Point Light House, then the venue for bridal party and family photos and then we whisked the couple down to the Old Filed Club Beach cabanas.  Cocktail hour was enjoyed overlooking the beautiful West Meadow Creek during dusk and enjoying the music from musicians from the Silver Arrow Band who kept the dance floor full during the evening.  The reception tables were adorned with fragrant,  beautiful pastel floral arrangements for an elegant look. Bourne Mansion Wedding | Colette & Steven

This Bourne Mansion wedding was something out of a fairytale.  Colette looked stunning in her beautiful gown and her Jimmy Choo shoes (a gift from Steven’s sister) as she walked down the aisle at Infant Jesus in Port Jefferson. You could see Steven holding back the tears when he saw Colette for the first time.  The love this couple shared was so evident, the smiles they wore the entire day were contagious to everyone.  A one of a kind painting of their event by the talented Amanda Hawthorne took place at the reception.  Guests were surprised with a spectacular fireworks display during the reception.  Colette and Steven were surrounded by their family and friends. and everyone danced the night away.  The evening ended with amazing desserts in the Bourne Mansion library and a cigar station and guests enjoyed the bacon, egg & cheese and hot pretzel stations as the evening ended.
