Macari Vineyard Wedding | Joy & Billy

Joy and Billy had an amazing wedding at Macari Vineyards in Long Island’s beautiful wine country on the North Fork.    I had a great engagement session at The Vanderbilt Mansion and Museum with this fun couple. Billy even brought his vintage truck for some very cool and fun photos.  When we arrived at the hotel for bride prep we were greeted at the elevator by Joy’s Maids of Honor. They told us that Joy’s niece was there to surprise Joy (Joy thought she couldn’t come to the wedding because of a sporting event).  So now we had to come up with a plan to surprise Joy.  As we gathered the bridesmaids for a group photo with Joy, Joy’s niece walked into the room dressed in her bride maids dress.  The screams of excitement brought tears to everyone’s eyes, even this photographer.  Joy was beyond happy!  During groom prep Billy opened his gift from Joy, beautiful cufflinks and a leather wallet with a photo of them from their engagement session.  Billy’s gift to Joy was a spectacular diamond bracelet and a cool pair of sunglasses.

Billy and his groomsmen made their way to Macari Vineyards for his and Joy’s first look.  The couple had their first look at the red barn across from Macari with their bridal party nearby watching as they saw each other for the first time.  There was lots of emotion and big smiles afterwards.  We took some photos in front of the barn and more by the vineyard rows of the couple, family and their bridal party before heading to the barrel room.  The ceremony was beautiful and Joy’s brother was their officiate; the ceremony was touching, heartfelt and funny.  The guests enjoyed the cocktail hour overlooking the vineyards during sunset.  Guests also enjoyed great food later on in the evening from the delicious Rolling in Dough, 1934 Pizza food truck and Aji Mexican Food.  The band 12X was absolutely insane and the danced was packed all night. The couple cut into their small cake that topped a cupcake tower and everyone enjoyed the yummy desserts.  It was a great day/night and Joy and Billy finished the evening with their guests sending them off with a glow stick exit.

Larkfield Manor Wedding | Danielle & Michael

It was a perfect day for a wedding at the historic Vanderbilt Mansion and Museum, followed by a beautiful reception at the Larkfield Manor. Danielle and Mike were referred to us by a past bride and I knew from the minute we met with them, we were a perfect fit.  We had lots of fun and laughs during their engagement session and I knew the wedding day would be just as fun.  Danielle and her bride maids got ready at her house and Danielle wore the biggest smile when we arrived.  Her hair and makeup was flawless and she looked like a beautiful vintage movie starlet from the 1930’s/40’s.  Her stunning Maggie Scottero gown added to her spectacular look.

Mike waited for his bride at the breathtaking Vanderbilt Mansion where the couple decided to do their first look.  Danielle and her father arrived at the Vanderbilt in a vintage 1930’s Packard.  As their families and bridal party watched from a distance, Danielle approached Mike so he could see his bride for the first time.  When Mike turned to see his beautiful bride the love and excitement filled the courtyard.  We spent a little time walking around the perimeter of the mansion for lovely photos in the gardens with the bridal party and the happy couple. It was a warm and heartfelt ceremony and the couple did a planting ceremony, they each took soil from their childhood homes and mixed it together in the pot with a tree that they will plant at their new home.

We made our was to the beautiful Larkfield Manor with a few photo stops along the way for some family photos in Larkfield’s beautiful gardens.  Guests enjoyed the exquisite cocktail hour which took place both indoors and outside on the patio area.  The lantern and floral centerpieces were the perfect touch to the grand reception room.  Guests enjoyed the Ruby Booth photo booth and the music kept the party jumping all night long.

Flowerfield Celebrations Wedding | Desiree & Marino

Desiree and Marino  Flowerfields wedding in St. James, NY was spectacular.  After a fun filled engagement session with the happy couple at the Fort Lee NJ Historic Park, we were very excited to share in their wedding day with them.  Desiree looked simply amazing when we showed up for bride prep.  Her hair and makeup looked flawless and excitement fill the hotel room. Desiree looked like a princess in her Maggie Sottero wedding gown, she was glowing.  Marino and his groomsmen arrived at the church awaiting the girls arrival. The bridesmaids made their way down the aisle, followed by the flower girls pulling the cute ring bearer down in his adorable decorated wagon. The emotion was overwhelming as Marino saw his beautiful bride head up the aisle towards him. It was a lovely sweet ceremony.

The lovely grounds at Flowerfields made for a beautiful backdrop for the bridal party and family photos.  The guests enjoyed a lovely cocktail hour in the atrium and outside at the stone fireplace.  The reception room was stunning with the floral arrangements and a ceiling draped with sheer white fabric.  The couple did a wonderful choreographed first dance that everyone enjoyed.  Guests also enjoyed a fun photo booth and a wine & cheese bar. Posh Entertainment kept the dance floor full with family, friends and a Unicorn.

The Hamlet Golf & Country Club Wedding | Erica & Dan

WE LOVE THIS FAMILY!!  It was amazing to be able to share in Erica and Danny’s wedding day.  Excitement filled the house when we showed up for bridal prep and it was wonderful to see some of our past brides now as bridesmaids for Erica’s amazing day. Erica’s hair and makeup looked breathtaking and she definitely was glowing.  The couple exchanged gifts and card, Danny gave Erica a beautiful diamond ring.  Erica told us about a very special gift she was giving Danny, she had found a letter from Danny’s mom that she had written to him when he was little and Erica had it sewn onto a handkerchief for him and framed the original letter as well to hang in their home.  It was a very beautiful and touching moment.  There were many special little moments during this incredible day.  Erica wore a stunning gown by Martina Liana, with gorgeous Badgley Mischka shoes and she looked perfect.

Erica walked down the aisle of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Massapequa and Danny could not hold back the tears when he saw his beautiful bride walking towards him. Sweet and touching words were spoken at their ceremony that put tears in many guests’ eyes.  The couple wanted photos outside the church with their Rolls Royce that had traditional cans tied to it.  Erica and Danny made a few quick sentimental stops before heading over to the lovely Hamlet Golf and Country Club in Commack where the couple took photos with their small bridal party of thirty three and their families.  After some amazing photos during sunset that overlooked the golf course the couple headed into their cocktail hour to welcome their guests.  The sweet fragrant floral arrangements adorned the tables, were a perfectly elegant touch for this affair.  Fun was had by all and the dance floor was full the entire evening with guests dancing, craziness and laughing.  The father and daughter dance was sweet and Danny danced with his three aunts and there wasn’t a dry eye, it was very emotional. It was great seeing everyone again and sharing in such a special and memorable day with them.  Oh and did I mention there was a Pirate J

Sparkling Pointe Vineyards Wedding | Blayne & Tomas

After a fun chilly beach engagement session with Blayne and Tomas a few months back, we were so excited for their vineyard wedding.  The day couldn’t have been more perfect.   It was a breathtaking wedding at Sparkling Pointe vineyard out in Long Island’s North Fork wine country.   Blayne’s make-up and beach blonde wavy long hair complimented her amazing two piece wedding dress by Casablanca Bridal.  Blayne chose to have her sister and Tomas’ sister’s as her bridesmaids and Tomas had two of his closest friends stand by his side.  The ceremony was at St. Joseph Church in Babylon and you could see the excitement on Tomas’ face when his bride made her appearance as she walked down the aisle and it was a very touching ceremony.   We knew that Blayne wanted to stop along the drive out east to take photos in a sunflower field and possibly on a beach and her wish came true.  We were able to take some photos by a sunflower field on our way to Horton’s Lighthouse out in Southold, a stop at Kenny’s Beach and a few other places before bridal party and family photos at Sparkling Pointe in the vineyards.  Guests enjoyed a spectacular cocktail hour alongside the vineyards, before entering the tent with its beautiful décor from its string lights above to the tabletops with their delicate floral arrangements.   After the bride and groom shared their first dance the couple chose to dance with their parents.  I don’t believe there was a dry eye in the room, including this photographer, when Tomas escorted his mom out onto the dance floor and did a choreographed mother/son dance with her.  The happy couple cut their cake overlooking the vineyard and everyone enjoyed the cup cake tiered cake and DL Fusion kept everyone on the dance floor with all night long.
