Fox Hollow Wedding | Jessica & Joseph

We were so excited to be a part of Joe and Jess’s wedding!  Anthony and I met Joe 6 years ago when we photographed his sister Sarah’s wedding, we knew the day would be amazing.  Jessica had this quiet calm about her when I arrived at bride prep at The Inn at Fox Hollow Inn and I waited for the moment of emotion to sneak up on her.  The moment hit Jessica when she opened her gift from Joe, a beautiful bracelet with three charms, one charm with the saying “At last I see the light”, Jess told me that it was from the movie Tangled that she made Joe watch it with her one day.  It was the first of many amazing moments and details from the day; from their first look at to the heart shaped lock that held their wedding rings to the very last dance Joe and Jess shared at the end of their amazing event at The Fox Hollow.  It was great to see Joe’s family again, to see Sarah & Vince and meet their two beautiful little boys.  congratulations again Jessica and Joe!

Lombardi’s On The Sound Wedding | Lauren & Kevin

Lauren and Kevin had their wedding reception at the beautiful Lombardi’s on the Sound http://www.lombardisonthesound.com/ in Port Jefferson.  We knew their wedding day would be fun filled after shooting their engagement session at Frank Melville Park http://www.frankmelvillepark.org/  Kevin and Lauren are major Mets fans and instead of a book, they had a Mets jersey with their last name on the back for their guests sign and an adorable Mets cake topper. We had many photo opportunities after their ceremony starting with, family photos at Kevin’s parent house, we had about an hour with the bridal party down at Port Jefferson Harbor Park http://portjeff.com/2015/06/06/harborfront-park/  and then headed over to Lombardi’s as the sun was setting over the LI Sound for some more great photos.

Old Field Club Wedding | Katelyn & Matt

Katelyn and Matt made planning an out of state wedding easy.  Living in Louisiana, Katelyn and Matt came back home to have their Long Island wedding at The Old Field Club.  Bridal prep was in the house Katelyn grew up in.  Her beautiful Hayley Paige dress from Thea Tora Bridal in Sayville was a 1920’s silhouette style with beautiful beading, Katelyn’s something borrowed was her mother’s wedding veil and to complete her look she wore Alex Marie Maryssa Metallic Jeweled Mary Jane d Orsay Dress Sandals. Groom prep was at Matt’s parents house where he and Katelyn had their first reveal, and it was perfect. After some family photos, it was off to the next location.

Lots of fun, laughter and photos with Katelyn and Matt and the bridal party at the Old Field Lighthouse , then we whisked Katelyn and Matt down to the Old Field Beach Club for some more beautiful photos overlooking the Long Island Sound. Their beautiful outdoor ceremony over looked West Meadow Creek, with romantic flowers and bouquets by Caroline’s Flower Shop in Islip.  They had a one of a kind giraffe bride and groom cake topper and a delicious cake from Audrey’s Bakery in Sayville. The dance floor gave us more amazing photo opp’s all night, thanks to  Absolute Entertainment. A special thanks to  M&V Limo who got them there safe and sound.  Congratulations again Katelyn and Matt!

George Weir Barn Wedding | Lori & Tom

Oh how we LOVE barn weddings! What do you get when you have the hottest day of the summer, a barn from the 1700’s, a 1950’s Cadillac and a Mick Jagger impersonation? A great day!!

Lori and Tom’s day began at St. Frances de Chantal Church in Wantagh for a beautiful ceremony. Then over to the beautifully rustic, George Weir Barn in Lloyd Harbor, NY which is run by the Lloyd Harbor Historical Soceity. Built in 1764 this barn sits right next to the Henry Lloyd Manor House on the grounds of Caumsett State Park and is a dream location for a wedding. Decorated with string lights and old farm equipment it was the perfect setting for a rustic wedding. Congratulations to Lori and Tom!

Duck Walk Vineyard Wedding | Erin & Stephen

When we first met with Erin and Stephen and found out their wedding was at Duckwalk Vinyards in Southold we knew this one was for us. Not only because Erin and Stephen are so cool, fun and laid back as I found out from their engagement session see photos here, but because we spend so much time in Southold with our family and absolutely love that town.  Erin & Stephen both rented houses in the area to stay at and funny enough, the house that Stephen‘s family rented was the same bed and breakfast that Erin and Stephen stayed at for a friend’s wedding not too long before. The day began with prep at their respective vintage rentals. The guys led by Stephen looking sharp in his Tom James suit made it to Our Lady Ostrabama Roman Catholic Church early and some of the Groomsman couldn’t help but catch some Pokemon (PokemonGo) in the parking lot. Erin arrived looking like she just jumped off the cover of Vintage Bride Magazine in a stunning Great Gatsby inspired dress by Sarah Seven – Sarah Seven Salon NY and Flowers by Blooms by Design the ceremony was beautiful.

Following the ceremony the entire bridal party traveled to the Horton Point Lighthouse for photos then to Duck Walk Vineyards for some photos in the vineyard but not before a photo-op with some vintage trucks and a beautiful field along the way.  The Brooklyn Boogaloo Blowout Band band was so incredible and rocked until around 11pm then JPE Entertainment took over to finish the night. The food provided by East End Events was fantastic and the evening was a smash.
